A masterful blend of beauty, talent, and tenacity, Ife Moore is like a grand spiral staircase, winding and flowing in circular layers expanding upward, stunning, and engaging, with an all-encompassing depth. With close to fifteen years in entertainment, she's an accomplished model, actress, radio personality, and hostess. Ife's journey represents a shift in the entertainment industry where artists are more selective and deliberate in their choices for career advancement, thereby increasing their longevity and rate of success. Due to a level head and strong family support, Ife has managed to flourish and advance in her craft without succumbing to the pitfalls of fame.
Growing up on the mean streets of Camden, NJ, the youngest of 6 kids, Ife learned to be strong yet driven. At home her mother worked diligently to instill strong values and build a close knit family. As a family they worked hard, but also made it a point to celebrate every milestone. At the age of 10, Ife moved to Louisville, KY to a slower pace of life. During her time there she found that she had a special gift, connecting to people and building strong relationships.
During this time her faith would be tested when her mother became ill. While still recovering, Ife's mother moved them to Charlotte, NC where Ife would experience firsthand, what a go-getter her mother was as she continued to recuperate. Raising six children on her own and surviving a cancer scare had a major impact on Ife as a young woman. She watched first hand over and over again as her mother faced challenges and yet with grace and love overcame each one of them. While in high school Ife ran track which taught her discipline and how to be a team player and being exposed to Southern hospitality helped her cultivate her knack for hosting.
No matter how hard Ife works she never is too short on time to spend with her family. She recognizes that spending time with her nieces and nephews keeps her connected to all of the great things about being a child, like fun, laughter, and a sense of adventure. But she also recognizes how important it is to be a positive role model for them just as her mother was for her in her formative years. She didn't know it at the time but all of these experiences would be the grounding force of her life and the key to her success.
While attending college at Shaw University in Raleigh, NC on a track and field scholarship, Ife won a 1 year John Roberts's modeling scholarship in Milan. During her stay in Milan she would be tested but she relied on the strength and wisdom of her mother and all of the values and skills she learned while growing up to see her through. Shunning the pitfalls of exploitation and objectification and choosing to rely on her talents and her work ethics, Ife won and placed in every modeling category of the Milan modeling competition. Upon returning to college, she secured a spot on K97.5 as an on-air personality. After graduating with a Bachelor of Mass Communications Ife returned to Charlotte and worked for V101.9 and 96.1 The Beat.
It was while Ife worked for Q92.7 The People's Station as Music Director, host of her own show called "Moments in Love with Ife Moore", and radio producer for "The Monique Show" that she really got to show off her talent and skills. Blossoming as hostess and entertainer demand for her appearance at parties, social and community events increased. Opening up for Mike Epps, hosting The CIAA Tournament, No Grease/Y Square Management Barbershop/Salon Tour, co-hosting with Tone X, Soul Train Awards, worked with Steve Harvey at the Hoodie Awards, and interviewing a myriad of stars such as Anthony Hamilton, Rapheal Saadiq, Musiq, and Lisa Wu Hartwell has positioned Ife to add another dimension to her portfolio.
This woman of soul currently lives in Atlanta where she is developing a project with Steve Harvey. Ife Moore, master of radio, actress and mistress of order exudes a strong presence with foresight, ready intelligence and keen responsiveness is now a driving force within the entertainment arena.
